Franciszek Zowczak is a student of European and international law of new technologies at the University of Groningen, as well as a participant in the Honours College scholarship programme. He also studied English law at Durham University. Since the beginning of his studies, he has been actively involved in academic organisations, including ELSA Netherlands, where he served as director of internal management, and in the university student council, where he represented the law faculty on the academic council.
He is interested in company law, capital markets and European competition law in the context of new technologies. He is co-author of a publication in the European Property Law Journal on the effective transfer of real estate sales contracts to third parties in 12 European jurisdictions. He is also interested in the financial dimension of corporate transactions, particularly in the area of M&A and private equity. He has participated in numerous Polish Economic Forum conferences in London and co-organised the LSE Law Summit, where leading London law firms conducted workshops on topics including private equity.
