MJH advises TEP Capital on its first transaction on the Polish market – the acquisition of Nicator.

The law firm Moskwa, Jarmul, Haładyj i Partnerzy had the pleasure of advising TEP Capital, a private equity fund, on its first transaction on the Polish market, involving the acquisition of Nicator.

The scope of the law firm's work included comprehensive transaction advisory, including due diligence and legal support in the area of transaction financing.

The transaction team was led by Karol Kicun (M&A) and Dr Krzysztof Haładyj (financing), and also included Justyna Wigier, Anna Skuza, Anna Wądołowska, Artur Szczepaniak, Wojciech Grabowski, Kamil Gago and Paweł Cyganik.

Nicator is a leading Polish manufacturer of polyethylene films, operating in a modern production plant in Brzezinka near Warsaw, compliant with BRC standards. Approximately 80% of Nicator's products are exported to Western European business customers. In 2019, the company achieved sales of approximately PLN 90 million. Nicator products play a key role in the food industry value chain, guaranteeing hygiene standards and production safety. Nicator films are made from the best recyclable monomaterials, while ensuring some of the thinnest products on the market.
